Other things that help…A look & feel you are going for? Any preliminary art we can look at? Did you see titles on our site that you liked elements of?
Don't know where to start? It seems like most projects are driven by the number of discs and the desired packaging height. The packaging height is often determined by whether it has booklets/books in it, Here's a page on MultiDisc Style that might give you some more ideas:

Multi Disc Jackets with Pockets or Foam Hubs
There are all kinds of ways we can do pockets. We can do curves, slits, thumbhole, pinch pocket, you name it. Or we can use a foam hub on almost any location we would use a pocket. With foam hubs, we sometimes like to stagger the location if you have them on multiple panels so the product closes neatly.

Multi Disc Jackets 5 inch Height Packaging
Midheight is just a fancy way to say "about five inches high," or "about the same height as a full-sized CD or DVD." And of course, a "mid-something" calls out for a "small-something," but in this case the only thing shorter than a "midheight" CD jacket is a mini CD jacket.
-
Cross Shaped Multi Disc Jackets that fold up to 5 inch
They fold right up to fit the same height and width as a regular (more boring) package! How slick is that? These are usually done with the four parts radiating from a central panel (sometimes with a matching sleeve attached to make it a 5-disc jacket. Some panels can just have information. They don't all have to have disc pockets.
You could make a very nice crucifix by adding a single panel to one of them. Think about it! -
Multi Disc Jackets Tall 7inch Height Packaging
The great thing about this packaging height and width is that it perfectly fits on the shelf with traditional DVD packaging.
-
Multi Disc Jackets 10inch Height Packaging
Mega-Tall could mean anything, but for us it means 10 inches, or two discs high.

Multi Disc Box Set Packaging
What's your definition of a box set? For most people, a boxed CD or DVD set has a "box." That, of course, leads to the "what's a box?" question. For some it's just a sturdy slipcase. For others it's a hard-bound "box" with sides made like a book—very thick and usually fabric-wrapped. Well, we can do it, whatever your definition!
-
Multi Disc Slipcase Sets
If is a great idea to add a slipcase if you have a somewhat unwieldy package, or need to secure it or retail or if you have multiple volumes that need packaging in a set. We can make these single walled or double walled (thicker) and can include fun effects like a die cut or embossing or foil on the front.
Can we make a slipcase set for you for title that you already have? Yes, but it is not the best solution. Making a run of slipcases for already made packaging is a little risky as it requires exact measurements, and we have to ship the slipcases flat to you (otherwise with nothing in the they would crumble, not to mention take up LOTS of air space). You're also paying for a lot of extra freight. So yes, we can do this but if you plan this out it is better to make a run of slipcases at the same time as the discs & packaging.

Adding a Perfect Bound Book or Booklet
It is not uncommon to have manuals with large disc sets. If you have a larger workbook or manual, please let us know the details.
Perfect Bound Book Number of pages: >28pp, how many Cover color: Covers 4pp, thicker stock, can be 4C/1C, 4C/0C or 4C/4C Inner Pages: number of pages, if unprinted/uncoated stock for writing on, or if printed 1C/1C or 4C/4C.
If you have a booklet that is under 28pp, we an do stapled/saddle stitch booklet for you. If it's on the smaller end of that, we can do a folded (gate fold, etc) or just an insert. We an also do things like staggered inserts or business reply cards.
